Hollywood HS Band/Flags/Drill Alumni

Calling all Hollywood High School Band Alumni!!!! The first ever Band Reunion will take place during Alumni Day 2005 on Saturday, June 4, 2005. The regular band will combine forces with alumni from all over the world to create the first ever Alumni band, playing several selections during Alumni Day 2005 festivities. Band Director Marston Riley will provide music via the www.HollywoodHighAlumni.com and www.sheikband.us websites. The band reunion is part of a major fundraising effort to purchase needed band uniforms and instruments. The funding goal is $10,000. The band has grown from a low of 12 members to over 40 since Marston took over the band in 1999. It is hoped that the band reunion will start a tradition for the performing arts center instrumental program to bring back those performers and players who marched in the Hollywood Santa Claus Parade, at Football Games, and Band programs since the beginning of Hollywood High School.
